Isabella’s work of art “Happiness” resulted from my mother’s request to acknowledge the wonderful people at Highercombe aged care home in South Australia for the love and excellent care they provided during her final five years of life. I asked Bella if she would accept a commission to create a piece that would represent the family happiness mum had experienced throughout her entire life.
I placed my trust in Bella and in return she put her heart and soul into the piece.. So much so that the nursing team broke down in tears when “Happiness” was presented to them by my mum as a huge thank you for making her time in aged care such a happy one.
